Maya Rudolph is a mama once again as she has welcomed another bundle of joy into her life! Rudolph and her man Paul Thomas Anderson welcomed their second child into the world together on November 6th, 2009. Read more about Lucille, their new addition here.
Funny woman SNL’s Maya Rudolph had a baby girl Lucille, who entered the world on November 6th, 2009. Rudolph and her man director Paul Thomas Anderson had the little girl in Los Angeles, California.
Rudolph’s rep confirmed the news to People magazine exclusively.
Apparently the couple were able to keep the gender of their baby a secret…from themselves! As they did with their first child, Pearl, Maya and Paul decided not to find out the gender, making it a surprise for not only their family and friends but also themselves!
On an appearance with David Letterman, Rudolph told the talk show host, “We didn’t find out with [Pearl], which was kind of fun. Because when you’re ready to throw in the towel and you’ve got nothing positive to think about or feel, because you’re so heavy and you want to float in a pool of salt water to be buoyant, it was nice to have something to look forward to.”
Lucille joins big sister Pearl, who is four years of age. Congratulations to Maya Rudolph and Paul Thomas Anderson on their new baby girl!
