Sarah Shahi’s baby boy is already six months old. It is amazing how fast time flies during that first year of life. William Wolf Howey was born in 2009 and Shahi is proud of not only her little guy but of her year as a whole. Read more as Sarah reminisces about her year here.
Sarah Shahi is a proud mother of her baby boy William Wolf Howey who was born on July 9th, 2009. And let me tell you, he is adorable! The father of baby Howey is actor Steve Howey. William Wolf weighed in at 8lbs and nine ounces. A big healthy baby!
Sarah Shahi has had a fabulous year with many roles to be proud of, including a starring role in the USA series Facing Kate and the Life. And she also was an alum on the show the L Word.
After meeting the father of her baby, Steve Howey, just five months and two days after they married in February they welcomed their new little bundle.
When she found out she was pregnant, Shahi says she was surprised. “In a matter of seconds, you’re handed this life that you’re responsible for, and I was totally nervous. It’s a lot of trial and error. I still feel like a child myself!”
But as soon as William Wolf was born she felt more comfortable as a mother. About her little baby boy, Shahi says, “Wolf is delicious. Everything he does is adorable — even his little farts in the bathtub. The tiny little bubbles that come up? They’re so cute! I am such a mom.”
But Sarah didn’t always want to have a family. She explains, “I came from a single parent household. And I had a bad example of what a husband and father could be and how irresponsible a father could be. So because of that I didn’t want to get married or have kids.”
So I know you are all dying to know (as I was) why was the chosen middle name “Wolf”? Sarah says, “Steve kind of has these fangs. I said, ‘Has anyone ever told you that you look like a wolf?’ I called him Wolfie. So when we were struggling with names, we decided Wolf would be sentimental and meaningful.”
