A dad’s foul ball catch was quickly tossed back by his three-year-old daughter. The video of the foul ball catch and release is priceless, as dad reassures the little cutie with a big hug. Check it out here.
Here is the heart warming story of the week! Steve Monforto and his family were at a Philadelphia Phillies game Tuesday night, when a foul ball headed straight for them.
After a nice catch, Steve handed the ball to his three-year-old daughter, Emily, who quickly tossed it back onto the field. The whole thing was caught on video and the expression on Steve’s face is priceless. He is clearly shocked, but pulls his little one close for a hug to reassure her. He tells Fox,
“When she first threw it over, I kind of laughed and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, there it goes.’ But then the look on [Emily’s] face was like she might have done something wrong, so I just wanted to let her know that she didn’t do anything wrong.”
But don’t worry; the sweet father was later rewarded when a Phillies representative brought him a new ball to take home.
